ATTENTION: the adapter does not convert the signal from DVI to VGA, VGA monitors do not work with this connector; the correct use is with 2 adapters (1 on the video card and one on the monitor) and a VGA cable to connect them.
The adapter simply transfers the DVI signal to a VGA cable.
